I
am so happy and proud to serve the Madison community as your Principal. I have been in the district for over 30 years,
and I am really excited to serve the community I live in. My family has lived in Clairemont for over 30
years, and all my children attended San Diego Unified Schools. I am also a proud graduate of San Diego
Unified Schools and the first graduating class of University City High. I began my career in SDUSD as a Math and
Science teacher at both Middle and High School.
Since then, I have served as Vice Principal at Miller Elementary,
Crawford High, and Mission Bay High. I
have also been a Principal at CPMA and Mission Bay High School. I also worked at the Education Center in the
Finance and Monitoring departments.
Being Principal at Madison is my dream job, and I am so excited to be
here.
When
not working at Madison, you can usually find me at home with my wife, dogs,
cats, and our tortoise. I enjoy spending
time with my family (I have three adult daughters), especially my
granddaughter. I like to cruise
Clairemont on my e-bike and spend time in my yard working on my orange trees
and rose bushes. My wife and I love to
spend time in Oregon and Cambria. When I
have time off, we usually head up to a little place on the Oregon Coast or our
favorite dog-friendly motel off of Moonlight Beach in Cambria. We walk the beaches and look for interesting
shells and whatever else that the ocean provides. While these are some of my favorite places to
visit, there is no place like home or……MADISON HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!
